The project included construction and upgrade Civil engineering enabling works associated with the relocation of the existing playground including drainage and macadam surfacing works at Leixlip Amenities Centre, Leixlip, Co. Kildare.

Scope of works included:

• Construction of car park and associated infrastructure compliant and conforming to Transport Infrastructure Ireland standard.
• Development of extensive walking and cycling infrastructure.
• Installation of public lighting systems for circulation/road networks and car parks.
• Implementation of sustainable urban drainage systems
• Landscaping with native tree and shrub species and the creation of earthen berms for screening and enclosure.
