M&N Civil Engineering carried out significant modifications to the existing wastewater Network in Djouce Meadows, Roundwood. The project was essential to upgrading the wastewater network ensuring it can handle increased capacity and meet Irish water standards for wastewater management.

Throughout the construction period, it was crucial that flows in the existing wastewater network were maintained until the diverted sewer was fully operational.

The scope included :

• upsizing the current 150mm uPVC sewer to a 225mm uPVC sewer over approximately 306 meters up to 4 metres
• The diverted sewer underwent comprehensive testing, including cleaning, CCTV post-construction surveys, air testing, and smoke testing, to ensure it met the required standards.
• the existing redundant section of the wastewater network was safely removed and disposed of by M&N.
