As the PSCS and main contractor, M&N managed the removal of over 5,000 tonnes of hazardous stockpiles containing asbestos materials in soil and stone from the site. The stockpiles were safely removed off-site with the help of our dedicated team and trusted subcontractors. The hazardous material was disposed of at Enva, Port Laoise, ensuring the project adhered to the highest safety and environmental standards.

The project duration was 4 weeks.

Scope of Work:
• Removal of seven stockpiles of hazardous waste
• Safe disposal of 5,000+ tonnes of material
• Site preparation, including filling with SR21 material
• Plate bearing tests
• Installation of Kelly blocks for security at the northern entrance
• The site was left clean and ready for future use
